Is Edmonton Freestyle Ski Club a Freestyle Canada sanctioned club?

Yes.

In order to register for programs I am being asked to provide a Freestyle Membership for my athlete, why?

To ensure the safety of all participants, if you are taking part in a Freestyle Alberta sanctioned event, camp, program, or course, you must have an active membership for the season from Freestyle Alberta.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL MEMBERSHIPS FOR 2022-2023 EXPIRE ON JUNE 3OTH. NEW MEMBERSHIPS FOR THE 2023-2024 SEASON ARE EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2023 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2024.

What type of CFSA Membership does my athlete need?

“Club Athlete” - For entry-level athlete regular training, FUNdamentalz, Freestylerz, and inter/intra club competitions.

Where do the athletes train?

Athletes train at Sunridge Ski Area in Edmonton, AB.

Does my registration include a season pass to the hill?

No, season passes need to be purchased directly through Sunridge Ski Area.

***Please note as per Sunridge’s Passholder definitions “Ski club members (Sunridge Ski Club and Edmonton Freestyle Ski Club) must purchase a regular family or individual pass to use and train at Sunridge. Weekday and Night Rider passes are not eligible for use by club members.

What are the training hours?

FUNdamentalz - Tuesday & Thursday 6:15pm - 8:15pm, Saturday 10:15am - 1:15pm

Freestylerz & CanFree - Weeknights 6:00pm - 8:30pm, Saturday 10:00pm - 3:00pm

Does my athlete have to train everyday?

No, during registration select the days you wish to train based on the program.
