FUNdamentalz

AGES: 6-8 years old

The FUNdamentalz team is for young, experienced skiers who would like to develop their skills in all disciplines of freestyle skiing. The goal for FUNdamentalz athletes is to learn the fundamentals of freestyle skiing, while focusing on fun. Athletes will learn basic jumping skills, simple tricks like grabs, twisters and spreads, and spins like 180s. In the terrain park, the focus for these athletes will be approaching jumps, boxes and small rails, with an emphasis on terrain park etiquette. In the mogul course, athletes will learn how to navigate and select lines appropriate for their abilities. Athletes are encouraged to participate in club competitions to gain experience, however competing is not mandatory. The FUNdamentalz program is offered as a once weekly or twice weekly program.
