Certifying advanced aerials
Safety is of the utmost importance to everyone on the EFSC and governing authorities of Freestyle Alberta and Freestyle Canada.
As such, athletes who aspire to flip or attempt inverted tricks on snow must meet certain training prerequisites before advancing their air portfolio. For certain tricks, it is mandated that athletes perform the progression starting on an air bag. Competence on the bag leads to qualification granted from the coaches to perform on snow.
These athletes are strongly encouraged to participate in our air bag dates, led by our qualified Air 3+ coaches, to ensure they're taught in a manner that supports their safety.
